Willow

Well that was a busy day! At first we visited the garden centre.  Then I cut down all the epimedium, so they look nice when their flowers emerge.

Next I pruned all the hibiscus because that will stimulate more flowers in summer.

And then I started with my plan from yesterday. Step one, cutting down the old willow to get branches I can replant.

Step two, planting the branches (each 1.90m long planted 30cm deep) down at the river.

Step three, trying to clean the shoes…

Now we can only hope that they will develop a nice root system and lots of new branches at the top. The willows, not my shoes…

I am tired, but in a good way. 🙂
