Today I removed the stems, cleared the ground and planted 6 more willows. Now there is a nice row of willows down at the river. I can only hope that those willow branches that I took down from the Easter fire today, will grow as good as the others.
Because those look really promising.
I also got a nice present from Tina. When she ordered our potatoes, she added an Edgeworthia chrysantha/papyrifera (Paper Bush) to the list. The delivery was today. It does look a bit unhappy at the moment, but I am sure it will thrive now that it gets light and warmth.
